Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Do you know which famous children’s book author would have turned 103 years old on March 2nd?  He was an exciting, energetic, enthusiast who enjoyed writing for kids.  If you guessed Dr. Seuss, you were correct.  To honor this writing, Dr. Seuss, who’s given name was Theodore Seuss Geisel, there was a day of celebrating for the students in Ms. Bader, Mrs. Vacca, and Mrs. Raab’s class.  The students had guest readers including Mr. Mahoney, ate green eggs and ham, created hats and bows just like the Cat-in-the-hat wore, and played Seuss Bingo.  The students enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss and celebrating reading.  Happy birthday to the man who made reading in fun!
